Description
11/29/17 - This P.38 is one of the LAST ones made during WW2. It was manufactured in April of 1945, just before the Allies took over the factory. After the C block the guns were mismatched, GI assembled guns. I called this "tri-tone" as the frame is the notable plum color found on late-war guns. The slide and barrel are blued but also have some phosphate small parts, such as the trigger, slide release, safety lever, and rear site. Comes with a late cog hammer as well. The grips are late war correct and the magazine is JVD marked from Spreewerke. The bore is minty. These very late war guns are very popular with collectors and consistently go up in value.
