3/24/21 - This is a gorgeous example of one of the most rare and desirable Krieghoff Luger variations, a 1938 dated pistol with the original, matching magazine. 1938 had the lowest production total for the Krieghoff Lugers, with only 50 produced! This one is all matching and original with 96-97% of the original blue. Just a hint of muzzle and a sideplate wear, and two small spots of finish loss on the front strap. Original straw rates at 90+% and the fire blue remains on the opposite side of the magazine release button. Strong, shiny bore with just a hint of frost. Beautifully checkered, original grips. Won't see another example like this for sale any time soon, and comes straight from Tom's personal collection.
