Description

7/9/18 - This is one of the most rare and difficult to find Nazi contract pistols from World War II - the Armand Gavage pistol in 7.65mm.  There were only ~1500 of this variation produced, and this is the first we have ever offered for sale.  These pistols were manufactured in Belgium before World War II and production continued through the German occupation.  While test proofed by the German army, these pistols do not bear German acceptance stamps.  This one is fully original but difficult to rate as there are no major areas of finish loss, but patina is showing through all over the pistol.  The wood grips appear period original but Axis Pistols states that the grips should be a black plastic with 'AG' marking.  Unmarked magazine - do not know if it is correct for the pistol or not.  Bore is mint.
