Description
7/16/21 - Here's one we have never seen before. The Luger was made by DWM in the 1920's; a commercial, no date on the receiver. Later it was diverted to the police, and perhaps they decided to leave it in 30 caliber (7.65) but thought - we'd better mark it 7.65 so that no one makes a mistake. Then, they likely decided that was not a good idea, so they crossed out the 7.65 and converted the gun to 9mm to match all of the other police guns. At time of re-work they added the Police sear safety, replaced the barrel and numbered it to match. They also numbered the magazine to match. It was unit marked we believe to the Police Dept. in Berlin. The result is a very nice, all matching police Luger from the late 20's or early 30's. The finish is about 95 - 97%, with very nice un-marked grips. Minor wear on the high edges and around the muzzle. Spotty oxidation on the straps. Mint bore. A great example of a very unique Luger.Specifications
