Description
12/5/23 - We are calling this DWM Luger a "sneak" as it seems to have been made between the wars and during the time when Germany was forbidden to make any new weapons for the military. It does not fit the typical criteria for a "sneak" yet that seems like the most logical explanation. I has commercial proofs, and a serial number but not other markings. I does not seem to be a police gun as it has no sear safety. It is DWM marked but not dated. The barrel was likely replaced due to it originally being 30 caliber commercial. But then converted to 9mm. The the barrel was numbered 1302 as a factory error for 1802 which is stamped onto all other parts except for the magazine. The magazine is early WW2 era. Grips are not numbered or marked. It comes with a commercial holster from the 1920's and an unmarked tool. The holster had a unit marking added, but not sure the origin of the marking. There is no spare magazine. The bore is shiny and excellent. Rates an 8 out of 10. The factory original, or arsenal finish is excellent and rates about 93-95%.Specifications
