04/30/26 - For sale is an Inland M1 Carbine made in late 1944 and was issued to the Austrian Gendarmerie after WW2. The rifle is in excellent condition overall without any major blemishes. The metal has a clean parkerized finish without any pitting or corrosion. There are some areas showing wear. The stock shows light surface dings, no cracks or breaks, but the surface has been lightly sanded. The sling well is stamped OI, and the right side has remnants of a cross cannon stamp. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The barrel is stamped Inland 11-44. The bottom of the trigger guard is stamped LGK.K for the Carinthia Region and a rack #. The rifle is nearly parts correct for a rifle made at this time, with the front sight and recoil plate being incorrect.
