Description

2/14/25 - For sale is a Colt 1911 made in 1914. The pistol retains the excellent Colt polished blue finish with most of the wear being on the grip strapp. The slide and frame have edge wear The slide also has some dotting of oxidation towards the muzzle. The pistol is correct for a WW1 Issued Colt 1911. The barrel is marked HP on top, a J on the left lug, and a 5 in front of the lug. The bore is bright with good rifling but there is a cloudiness from wear. The grips are in good shape with edge wear. Comes with a period correct 2 tone magazine with a lanyard loop marked "M" on the base plate.
