Description
1/30/25 - For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 1917 revolver that was issued to the US army during WW1. The revolver retains a blued finish throughout but there are some spots of finish loss and what looks like steel wool was used on the frame. There are spots of surface oxidation on the cylinder. The gripsare in good condition but there is a crack on the right grip panel where the grip meets the inner grip, towards the top. The right grip panel has a matching serial number. The bore is bright with visible rifling but there is pitting within the grooves. The revolver comes with 17 rounds of miscellaneous .45 ACP ammo and 5 half moon clips.Specifications
