Very Rare Springfield Randall WW2 Fighting Knife

3/16/26- For sale is a very rare Springfield Randall fighting knife from the WW2 era. Many soldiers carried privately purchased knives into combat during WW2 and Randall knives were a particular favorite for their superior craftsmanship and durability. High demand forced Randall to rapidly expand production and a very small number of blades were produced under contact in Springfield Massachusetts. Only about 1,200 of these blades were made, making Springfield marked Randall knives very rare and highly collectible. The blade on this knife is very clean, with light wear in a few spots and a bit of a burr at the tip but no patina or blade chipping. The blade is marked with the "Randall Made Spfld. Mass." text, along with the double scimitar sword logo. The brass crossguard is fully intact. There is light wear on the leather wrapped handle. The original scabbard is also intact, with only light wear to the leather and no serious damage. All stitching is intact and the sharpening stone is present. Overall in excellent condition.
