Description
10/05/26 - This is a beautiful and original Winchester Model 1917 chambered in .30-06 made in 1918. This example has not been refurbished and has all W marked Winchester parts. The barrel is marked W 3-18. The barrel and receiver retain their original bluing. The receiver has some scuff marks on the rear sight protectors. The bolt, barrel bands, front sight, and magazine floor plate have lost all of their finish and turned a grey/brown. The stock has a dark finish with light handling marks. The stamps on the underside are thin. No cracks or breaks. The bore is in fair condition with good rifling and is still fairly bright, but there is visible pitting.
