SOLD - WW1 Gewehr Sniper Scope & Case

10/19/17 - This is an original WW1 era sniper scope for a Gewehr rilfe, complete with the original case. There is also a leather lens cover and a cleaning rod within the case. The case is strong and in great condition, but the closure strap is missing. The base has some cracking and there are a few spots of wear, but overall the case is in tact. The stitching is all original. The case is serial numbered "9142 f" and is by the same maker as the scope. The scope has some surface wear throughout. Most of this is brown patina and beginning signs of rust, but very light and the bluing is still visible. The optics are very crisp and clear. The scope is maker stamped and serial numbered "19268", but there is also a designated rifle serial number - where the scope is stamped "GEWEHR Nr. 9987 f". The scope is 4x zoom. The leather lens cap is "D.R.G.M." stamped and in good condition. Guaranteed all original and authentic.
