Description

6/13/18 - This is an original WW1 Imperial proofed bayonet (most likely for the Gewehr rifle). The bayonet blade is blued and made by Mauser. The spine of the blade has an imperial proof stamp. The blade hasn't been sharpened or altered and is in great condition. The wood handle has normal wear and some chewing of the wood. The scabbard has some light patina throughout and some surface rust. The leather frog is original and in great shape. Guaranteed original.
