Description
11/11/24 - This is a great example of a WW1 model 1905 bayonet for the 1903 Springfield rifle. Great condition with an original canvas covered scabbard. The canvas can slide off of the shell of the scabbard, but is still in great overall condition. The blade is great and retains most of its original finish, with scabbard wear on the blade. The edge of the blade appears to may have been lightly sharpened, but this has not impacted the profile of the blade. The left side of the blade is maker stamped "SA" as well as ordinance stamped and date stamped "1917". The right side of the blade is stamped "US" as well as serial numbered "697516". The wood handles have no cracks or chips.Specifications
