Description
6/22/26- For sale is a Nazi era fireman's parade bayonet. During the Nazi era, almost every government organization was issued with daggers and ceremonial uniforms, including firefighters in this case. The bayonet generally takes the shape of a K98 bayonet with a fer alterations. The blade is bright and chromed with light wear and no signs of patina or rust. The blade is stamped with the Eickhorn squirrel logo. The plastic grip panels are intact and undamaged. The scabbard is painted black with some minor spots of paint loss and denting. The frog is worn and has a tear where the hook for the scabbard rests. The frog appears to be very faintly stamped with a 1938 date. Overall in very good condition.
