8/21/25 - This is a very nice example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver issued to the US military during WW2. It is all matching, "P" proofed on the left side of the frame, and has a flaming bomb military proof on the butt of the frame. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original wartime parkerized finish. There is general high edge wear, some areas of light freckling here and there, and some areas of thinning - most noticeable on the grip straps and along the barrel. Case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with correct wood grips - the right panel is properly numbered and matching. However, they have been lightly sanded and refinished. Mint bore.
