Description

2/26/25 - This is a Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver, manufactured in 1860. It has a 6" barrel and is chambered in .31 Caliber. It is all matching except for the barrel wedge. The barrel wedge fits a bit loose even when the screw is tight. There appears to be a factory double-stamp on the butt of the frame. Overall, the gun is in fair condition. It has virtually no finish left with spotty "attic patina" throughout. There is also minor pitting throughout and some dings in the metal here and there. The cylinder scene has roughly 50% visibility. Fitted with period-correct wood grips with noticeable scratching, bruising, and wear on both sides. There are a couple of chips on the right side. The bore shows light surface rust throughout. Fully functional. No FFL required.
