1/16/25 - This is a scarce Australian MK9 military compass made by J.W. Handley in Melbourne, Australia. This compass is a brass bodied compass painted with black paint. The paint on this compass is in great condition, and has only minor paint loss. This compass comes with it's original leather carrying case. The leather on this case is in great condition and is still pliable. The leather strap does have some cracking around the adjustment holes. There is a minor tear on the closure strap on this case.
