Description

3/22/21 - This is an original WW1 era bayonet for a Winchester trench shotgun or for an Enfield rifle. Excellent condition throughout with an olive green painted scabbard. The blade is in great shape despite some surface discoloration. There's no signs of sharpening and no rust or pitting on the blade. 1917 dated and Remington maker stamped on the ricasso. The reverse of the ricasso is ordnance stamped. Excellent bluing on the hand guard and pommel.
