SOLD - US M1917 Trench Knuckle Knife

Description

5/11/22 - This is an original WW1 production trench fighting knife. The knuckle knife comes with an original scabbard, although the scabbard pins appear to be replaced, and one of the pins is missing from the toe piece of metal. The blade has some finish loss and typical scabbard wear along with a few small nicks along the edges. This is typical aging and use wear, and there's still a good amount of original finish intact. The hand guard shows surface patina throughout and some mild corrosion around the L.F.&C. maker stamp and date. The wood handle is original and in great condition. The scabbard is maker stamped Jewell and dated 1918.
