9/1/22 - This is an original WW1 US Trench Fighting Knife by L.F.&C. The knife comes with an original scabbard that's maker stamped "Jewell 1918". The triangular blade has most of the original blued finish still intact, which is fairly rare for these old fighting knives. The hand guard is maker stamped and dated. There's edge wear and mild patina throughout the handguard. No cracks or chips on the wood handle. The scabbard has surface wear and typical signs of aging / patina throughout but is in great overall condition with all pins intact.
