Description
6/16/22 - This is a late WW1 production "ersatz" style Imperial German rifle bayonet. The bayonet has been brass welded inside the attachment groove, as result of the Treaty of Versailles. The bayonet has a metal handle and fairly crude design with no markings on the blade or handle. The blade shows patina throughout but no rust or pitting. There's a few mild dings along the edge, which is still sharp. The leather stopper is in tact. Comes with a black painted scabbard that has a few dents near the toe, and a black leather frog that's unmarked. Blade measures about 10 inches long.Specifications
