SOLD - Early Hitler Youth Knife (072622-8)

Description

7/27/22 - This is an original, early variation Hitler Youth Knife. The knife blade indicates 1933-1936 production because of early features such as a thin blade, no ricasso, and "Blut und Ehre!" motto inscribed on one side. The leather stopper is still intact. The blade has some specking and surface oxidation on each side. The edge shows mild signs of sharpening and some use wear. The reverse is maker stamped by Anton Wingen JB. The grip panels are excellent with a sharp diamond pattern. The metal hand guard, hilt, and pommel have some mild surface patina but no major issues. Comes with an original scabbard that's missing some black paint but is in great overall condition.
