SOLD - Very Early Hitler Youth Knife

5/8/25 - This is a very early M1933 Hitler Youth Knife, or Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser, by Anton Wingen Jr of Solingen. Crisply maker-marked “A.W.Jr Solingen” and patent-marked “Ges. Geschützt". The blade is in very good overall condition, with the blade retaining its factory edge with minimal signs of sharpening or use, though there is light oxidation throughout the metal. The grips are in mostly great condition, though there is a crack on the right grip panel above the upper rivet securing it to that handle. The scabbard is black painted steel, with much of the paint chipped off with age and storage. The leather around the female snap portion has broken off. The HJ diamond retains most of its enamel, but there a surface crack running through the swastika.
