SOLD - Western G46-8 Large Mk 2 Style Knife (081723-33)

Description

8/18/23 - This is a fairly scarce, original Western G46-8 military fighting / utility knife. The G46-8 was a larger size (8 inch blade) fighting knife that Western developed during WW2. The blade is in very good overall condition with dark patina and surface wear mixed within the finish. There's a small area of pitting on one side as well. The edge is in great condition with no signs of sharpening. The leather handle is has mild age and handling wear but is tight, and retains the original, early style black and red spacers. Comes with a worn, period correct leather scabbard, as well as a postwar scabbard that's in minty condition.
