SOLD - Tokyo Arsenal T30 Bayonet (090424-12 - AB)

Description

12/30/24 - This is a great example of an early WW2 Type 30 Bayonet made by the Tokyo Arsenal. The bayonet features a bright fullered blade and other early features such as a bird's head pommel, hooked cross guard, and a ball-tipped metal scabbard. The blade is in great condition with almost no wear. The blade has been sharpened. The cross guard has finish wear, as well as a light patina. The pommel has some wear but its finish is in great overall condition. The pommel has a Tokyo inspector's mark and is serial numbered. The wood grip has a small chip but is still fully intact. The scabbard on this bayonet is still straight with no major dents. The finish on the scabbard has thinned with use and age and does have some oxidation but nothing that is effecting the functionality and integrity of the scabbard.
