Description

10/16/24 - This is a rare and desirable Colt Cavalry Single Action Army revolver from 1883. It is completely matching and original with proper 7.5in barrel. It is "US" Property marked on the frame with "P", "G", and "DFC" martial markings. There are military cartouches on both grip panels, and the left side is dated but we can't make it out. These guns are usually in rough condition, but this one is in better condition than most we've seen. Much of the original blue along the barrel is intact, and there are hints of the original case-hardening visible on the frame. There is brown "attic patina" on much of the frame with areas of tiny pitting here and there. Incredible bore for its age - near mint. Fully functional. No FFL required.
