8/16/21 - This is a nice example of a 1920's commercial DWM Luger that was later reworked and issued to the Nazi police. It is all matching, has an added police sear safety, has a matching WW2-era police-numbered magazine, and has a "S.Hn. 177" police unit marking on the front strap. We believe this stands for the Schutzpolizei of Hanover. It has retained about 85% of its finish. There is splotchy wear on the straps and right side rail. Minor wear on the high edges in general and around the muzzle. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there are areas of heavy pitting and heavy oxidation on the straps, left side of the frame, and on the left side of the barrel. It is most noticeable on the back strap. Comes with nice un-numbered grips. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
