Description
4/19/22 - This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger that was originally sold in the commercial market in the 1920's. It was then reworked and issued to the German police force, as evidenced by the added police sear safety and the "SP. Bn. 1991" police unit marking on the front strap. We believe this indicates it was issued to the Bayern police force. This one also comes with a matching police arsenal-numbered magazine. There is a crossed-out "7.65" marking on the receiver. Seeing as the barrel was replaced and re-numbered to match, it's possible this gun was originally chambered in 7.65mm - a popular commercial cartridge. It has retained about 96-97% of its bluing. There is wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the top of the receiver where there is also some minor pin-pricking. Comes with minty wood grips - the left panel has an "Eagle 6" Simson proof, the other is un-marked. Minty bore.Specifications
