Description

9/17/21 - This is a very nice example of a scarce early DWM Luger manufactured in 1910 and issued to the Imperial German Military. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs. It has early features such as no stock lug and originally had no hold-open but one has been added. The gun has retained about 93% of its original finish. There is minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. There is tiny pin-pricking throughout and brown patina on the straps. An area of minor pitting around the muzzle. Comes with excellent wood grips - one is un-numbered, the other is numbered but mismatched. Also comes with a mismatched WW1-era magazine that has the proper early-style numbering (small chip in the bottom). Very nice bore with good rifling.
