SOLD - 1930 Italian Model 91/28 Carcano Carbine

1/5/22 - This is a very nice example of an Italian M91/28 Carcano Carbine, manufactured by MBT in 1930. They gun is matching, except for the stock, and has no import marks. There is a "Made in Italy" export proof on the left side of the barrel. The left side of the butt stock has a "Beretta Gardone" marking and a serial number that does not match the rest of the gun. It comes with an original bayonet (not matching, no scabbard), an original cleaning rod, and two stripper clips. Generally, the gun is in very nice condition. There isn't much actual finish loss, just light spotty brown patina throughout. Some light scratching around the front barrel band. Some minor freckling on the receiver and bottom of the magazine. The stock is nice with minor dings, bruises, and small stains in the wood here and there. The bore has decent rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
