Description

2/1/22 - This is a very nice example of a Waffenwerke-Brunn K98 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The gun is completely matching, but we believe the floor plate and trigger group have been re-numbered to match the receiver. It has the proper waffen military proofs throughout. No visible markings on the stock. The gun has retained most of its blued finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle and around the high edges of the barrel bands. A few light scratches on the floor plate. There are a couple of areas of splotchy discoloration on the receiver. The wood stock is near-mint but was likely sanded. The bore is shiny with strong rifling but there is an area of heavy oxidation about halfway down. Comes with an original cleaning rod.
