Description
6/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a 1920's commercial Luger rig. During WW2, it was then issued to the Nazi police force, as evidenced by the "1920" rework marking on the chamber, added police sear safety, and police unit marking on the front strap. The unit marking is "S. D. VI. 855.". From research, we believe this means it could have been issued to the Nazi Kriminal Polezei, or criminal police. The gun is matching and comes with an un-numbered WW2-era magazine, a matching-numbered tool (looks like it was re-numbered), and a matching-numbered 1916-dated police style Luger holster. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear on the underside of the trigger guard, on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Spotty oxidation and freckling on the straps. Very minor pin-pricking on the chamber. Comes with slightly worn un-numbered grips. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
