Description

1/20/23 - This is a Walther Olympia Jaeger Pistol made in 1936. Includes the original matching magazine. The original design was actually developed for use by the German Olympic team who used it during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Germany won both the Gold & Silver medals in the 25 meter Rapid Fire Pistol matches during those games. The Olympia is a single-action, blow-back pistol with an internal hammer and push-button magazine release. This is the short-barreled "Hunter" version of the Olympia pistol. It is chambered for the .22 Long Rifle and has a 4-5/8" barrel. The rear sight is adjustable for windage. This example has retained about 98% of its original bluing. There is only minor wear along the barrel and the high edges. There is no pinpricking or corrosion of any kind. The original grips are excellent. The gun is all matching. It has "Crown N" proofs. It was made in the Zella-Mehlis factory. The wood bottom mag matches the gun. The bore is minty.
