Description

5/7/21 - This is a 1936 Olympia Funfkampf pistol with spare grips, target weights, and handmade case. The original design was actually developed for use by the German Olympic team who used it during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Germany won both the Gold & Silver medals in the 25 meter Rapid Fire Pistol matches during those games. The Olympia is a single-action, blow-back pistol with an internal hammer and push-button magazine release. This is the "Fünfkampf" version, or "Pentathlon" of the Olympia pistol. It is chambered for the .22 Long Rifle and has a 9.25 inch barrel. The original blue rates in the low 90s with minor high edge wear in several areas, and on the trigger guard. Mint bore. Grips have a small chip in the left panel, but a spare set is included. The barrel and frame weight are included but the small weight that attaches to the bottom of the frame weight. Has correct cleaning rod but part of the tip is broken off.
