Description
5/3/21 - This is a very nice Walther Olympia F?ºnfkampf pistol made in the late 1930's. The original design was actually developed for use by the German Olympic team who used it during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Germany won both the Gold & Silver medals in the 25 meter Rapid Fire Pistol matches during those games. The Olympia is a single-action, blow-back pistol with an internal hammer and push-button magazine release. This is the "F?ºnfkampf" version, or "Pentathlon" of the Olympia pistol. It is chambered for the .22 Long Rifle and has a 9.25 inch barrel. This example has retained about 90% of its original bluing and still has the matching, numbered magazine. There is minor edge wear and thinning in a few areas, but the most pronounced area of bluing loss is around the front third of the barrel. Mint bore and excellent two-piece grips. Includes additional barrel weight.Specifications
