Description
05/28/26 - This is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1943 that was converted to a Mk2 Mod 0 by AMF to 7.62 NATO. These conversions were done using chamber bushings but were deemed unreliable due to the sleeves coming loose and ejecting with a spent casing, creating a hazard. The metal has a dark parkerized finish with some light surface wear. The stock is a replacement and has no markings, with no cracks or breaks in the wood. The bore is bright with good rifling. The muzzle erosion reading is 1.5. A 1943 Springfield converted to the Navy's Mk2 Mod 0.
