Description

8/14/25 - For sale is a scarce svwMB Code K98k made by Mauser in 1945. The Allied forces would take the Mauser factory and production would resume under French Supervision. The firearms made would be stamped with a Star. The metal retains a nice blued finish with rough machining marks on the receiver. The stock has been saned and oiled. There's splits developing between some of the grains. The left side of the stock has a 2 inch crack coming from the take-down disk. There's a couple of smaller cracks coming from the French-style sling loop. The bore is fairly bright with strong rifling, but some prickling of corrosion at the muzzle is visible. The serial numbers are completely mismatched. Comes with a Wartime K98k sling.
