Description
10/19/26 - For sale is a Czech Vz.52 semi-auto rifle made in 1956 and marked "AYM" on the receiver. The Vz.52 was Czechoslovakia's domestic design, comparable to the SKS. The rifle was originally chambered in 7.62x45, but it has aftermarket chamber inserts that convert it to shoot 7.62x39. Note that these sleeves are known to come loose and eject with a spent casing.
The rifle has a nice dark finish throughout with some light surface scratches and wear. The barrel has some oxidation freckles on the surface. The upper handguard is a dark grey color from age. The stock has been sanded and lacquered. There is a large crack wrapping around the right side of the wrist, which is stopped by a large cross screw. The bore is bright with good rifling, with some fouling in the groove corners. The receiver and stock are matching, and the bolt is mismatched. There is an import mark on the receiver. The rifle comes with a sling.
