Description
5/16/22 - This is a nice example of an early first-variation Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. As a first-variation, this one also has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs on the frame and on the left side of the slide near the tang. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish bluing. The most noticeable sign of wear is splotchy discoloration on both sides of the slide, on the left side of the frame, and a little on the front strap. There is also muzzle wear and an area of noticeable wear on the right side of the slide. Minor wear around the tang and the base of the back strap. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and a proper Walther banner-only magazine. Minty bore.Specifications
