Description
6/7/22 - This is a minty example of a rare transitional Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in October of 1939. All matching. What makes it transitional is that it has a later large trigger guard but also has early features such as straw-colored small parts and an earlier-style cocking knob. It comes as a rig with an excellent rubberized canvas holster and an original matching-numbered magazine (early nickeled tube). It has retained about 98% of its original finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is pin-pricking and brown patina on the grip straps. Comes with nice matching-numbered wood grips. They are hand-numbered (also an early feature), and the numbering is faint. Mint bore.Specifications
