Description

6/7/22 - This is a very nice example of a Springfield Krag Model 1896. The military cartouche and date on the stock is obscured (the stock was lightly sanded), but from the serial number, this one was manufactured in 1897 (making it an antique). Overall, the gun is in very nice condition with not much finish loss. There is some minor spotty wear on the left side plate and small dots of wear here and there along the barrel. Some light spotty surface rust on the butt plate. Minty stock. Comes with a very nice leather sling. Minty bore.
