Description

10/12/22 - This is an excellent example of a Springfield M1 Garand that was delivered to the British military as a part of the Lend-Lease Program. It also has a fairly early receiver, dating to 1941. The barrel was made by Springfield and has the proper British military proofs. The wood stock is SA marked and has a cross-cannon military cartouche. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. There is not much finish loss except for some thinning on the gas tube. The wood stock is minty with only a few small handling marks here and there. The bore is like-new.
