Description
4/27/23 - This is a minty example of a Springfield M1 Garand. The serial number on the receiver dates to about February of 1942. The barrel is Springfield marked and dated August of 1942. There are British proofs on the barrel indicating this gun was part of the Lend-Lease Program between the US and England during WW2. Very rare Type 1 lockbar rear sight. The stock is "P" proofed and has the proper Springfield military inspection stamp. In general, the rifle appears to be un-issued. The metal parts have retained nearly all of their finish with some light scuffing along the barrel and on the floor plate. Minty wood furniture. Mint bore. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading: 0.Specifications
