SOLD - Smith-Corona Model 1903-A3 Rifle

1/13/23 - This is an original Smith-Corona model 03-A3 rifle in all original configuration. The rifle comes with a Remington Arsenal 1944 dated barrel, and a mixture of both blued and parkerized parts. We rate the metal around 94% overall, as there's some mild surface wear near the muzzle and on the barrel, as well as some speckling and surface wear on the barrel bands and bolt assembly. The stock is original and still shows a faint "FJA" inspector stamp. The stock has been lightly sanded throughout and has a smooth, soft feel. There are a few "chew" marks and dents in the wood near the buttstock, just beyond the neck on the left side. Likely from being dropped or mishandled, but there are no cracks or significant issues. The bore is shiny but shows some mild patina and the grooves are slightly faded/shallow. Overall the bore rates 8/10. Mechanically sound.
