Description
3/25/21 - This is a very nice example of a Smith-Corona Model 1903-A3 Rifle issued to the US military in 1944. The serial on the receiver dates it to 1944. It has a Smith-Corona barrel dated 1943. The stock has a "P" proof, a military cartouche, and an "FJA" inspector proof. It also has an Ogden Arsenal rework mark. Rack number near the butt plate. Overall, the gun has retained most of its finish - there are some very light handling marks on the barrel and floor plate. The stock was likely sanded. There are dings, dents, and scratches throughout. Minty bore. Comes with bore brush in the butt.Specifications
