Description
11/17/22 - This is an interesting example of a CZ 46, a P.38 put together by the Czechs in 1946 using leftover Nazi parts. The gun is all matching and has a Czech Lion proof on the top of the barrel. There is not, however, the typical "46" marking on the right side of the trigger guard. The frame was made by Mauser (Eagle 135 proofed), the slide was made by Walther (Eagle 359 proofed and AC 44 marked), and the barrel was made by the Czech fnh factory (Waffen 76 proofed). There is Czech numbering "874" on the left side of the slide. The entire gun has been arsenal refinished with very little finish loss, just very minor wear around the muzzle and at the front edges of the slide. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are areas of pin-pricking under the finish throughout. Comes with a set of nice greenish-black bakelite grips and a jvd magazine that was re-numbered on the base to match. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is not functional.Specifications
