Description

1/10/23 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on the slide and frame. It has retained roughly 80% of its original wartime finish. The majority of the finish loss is along the left side of the slide. There is what looks like finish loss on both sides of the frame, but we believe the finish is just thin by nature. Some light wear and brown patina on the grip straps. Some minor wear along the right side of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Some spotty oxidation and minor pitting on the left side of the slide near the muzzle. Fitted with nice period-correct grips - small chip at the top of the left panel. Comes with a Walther banner-only magazine. Very nice bore with great rifling.
