Description
4/5/23 - This is a very nice example of a Double-Date DWM Luger. Originally issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. All matching with the proper Imperial proofs. The "1920" date on the chamber is a government property marking, indicating it remained in government service after WW1. This one was reworked for the police, as evidenced by the added police sear and magazine safeties. There was a unit marking on the front strap that has been "X'd" out. The gun itself has retained about 90% of its finish. The majority of the wear is on the side plate, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle and on the side rails. A few tiny pits on the right side of the gun and some minor dulling on the grip straps. Excellent un-numbered grips. Comes with a wood-bottom magazine that was numbered to match the gun. Excellent bore with strong rifling.Specifications
