Description
1/15/21 - This is an excellent example of a WW1 double date Erfurt Luger. It was made and issued to the Imperial Army in 1914. It was then reworked by the German police force in 1920. This is evident by the 1920 double date, added police seer safety, and police unit marking on the front strap. It has its original Imperial German military proofs on the right side of the slide. The gun is all matching except for the trigger bar. It has retained about 95-96% of its original bluing. There is minor wear around the muzzle, side plate, and high edges of the frame. There is very minor wear and spotty oxidation on the straps. It comes with excellent matching grips and a matching magazine - numbered at the police arsenal. The bore is decent - shiny but the rifling is a little worn and there is minor pitting throughout.Specifications
