Description

3/23/23 - This is a minty example of a rare BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. All matching with a police "Eagle F" proof on the slide. Only about 1,500 of these guns were made. It has a dual-tone finish - phosphate frame and slide with a blued barrel. It has retained nearly all of its original finish with just some minor wear around the muzzle. While there is almost no actual finish loss, there is light spotty oxidation throughout (typical for these phosphate finishes). Fitted with a proper set of black plastic Mauser grips. Comes with a "Waffen 135" marked Mauser magazine. Factory-new bore. De-cocker is functional.
